Discover our wide selection of premium ruby tip nozzles by E3D. In this selection, you can find high-performance ruby nozzles of different diameter sizes and hot end types, including Volcano ruby nozzles. If you are looking for cheaper hardened nozzles, browse this section for hard steel nozzles.
We proudly offer a myriad of ruby nozzles. The Olsson Ruby nozzle is the second hardest material on earth, right after diamond. This remarkable nozzle has totally changed the game; by having the ability to print all filament materials, and do so at such an impeccable industrial level! The ruby nozzle is manufactured from brass with a robust ruby tip forged out of actual ruby gemstone. It is the ultimate nozzle to handle abrasive filament materials like carbon fiber filament or wood-filled and metal-filled filament. Ruby nozzles’ high performance is owed to the nozzle material’s high resistance to physical strain paired with impressive thermal conductivity. Where hardened steel nozzles fall short, the ruby tip nozzle comes to the rescue. Print PLA to flame retardant filament with the ruby nozzle, resistant to temperatures over 500°C.
The ruby nozzles in this collection are available in different output and input diameter sizes. Select the right size and input diameter to complement your filament material best. Make sure that the outer diameter you select, fits your 3D printer. Furthermore, we also offer Volcano ruby nozzles, great for fast 3D printing at extremely high temperatures. Use the compare option found under every ruby nozzle product to view the specific difference when making a decision.
Frequently cleaning your ruby nozzle is a great habit in order to avoid any clogging and unnecessary damage to your nozzle and other components of your 3D printer. Clean the outside of your ruby nozzle with a paper towel or microfiber cloth before it has cooled down completely. Using cleaning filament in between filament material transitions will result in the best-looking 3D prints as well as extend the lifespan of your ruby nozzle. As the ruby nozzle is very hard and made with micron precision, we advise that you only use a cloth to wipe the nozzle and never a brush.
